I just hit the 50 coin milestone at the old hunted out revival site. Since early September I've been hunting one place that we must have hunted 30 times in the early nineties. With the conventional detectors we had back then you could no longer find anything at the site. When the new Minelab Equinox multi-frequency detectors came out I knew that I was going to get one and come back to this old place with a big coil that goes deep. There are some 24 small cents here both Indian and Wheat cents, 7 Barber silver dimes, 2 Mercury silver times, 1 Barber silver quarter, 12 Buffalo Nickels, 3 V-nickels and one Canadian cent. There is a token, three early Cracker Jack prizes, an old spoon made in the UK early 1800's, a veteran’s key fob, a cuff link and a primitive hitch pin. Missing is a 14K ring that I recovered that I was unable to trace to the owner's family so it was sold for scrap. Hey! Let's go detecting!
