After Hurricane Irene hit the east coast of the US, I was desperate to hit the beach even though I live four hours from the beach. When I learned the tides were perfect I packed my E-TRAC into the car and headed down the road at 5:30am. I arrived on the beach at 9:30 and immediately started hunting. The erosion was much less than expected but the large shells on the beach showed promise.
