Had Anzac day off work so thought I might head out the whipstick for a quick swing. Found one small piece on diggings and working my way up to a surfaced area the old timers had turned over years ago, there was an area that had filled with water but had dried out, so I thought maybe that would be worth a go. Walking on to it there was a fair bit of old fencing wire skattered about, but then I heard a nice faint wobbly broad signal. Dug down and out poped a nice 55 gram or 1.929 ounce nugget, I called it the Anzac nugget. Once the excitement settled down a bit I went back to detecting, another 5.4 grams in two pieces. What a buzz thanks again to Minelab!! Norm Thomas - Victoria, AUS
