I put the batteries in my new Vanquish, switched it on and it was ready to go.I'd never detected before so I started in my front yard.A week later I'd found everything from 1 cent pieces to $1-$2 coins,A few rings, an old "spud gun" a 1 ounce silver ingot and a shotgun barrel.I WAS HOOKED! Since then(1 month) I've researched some old WW2 Camps in the region and it seems everywhere I go I'm finding stuff.Old Australian and American coins,Spent she'll casings/bullets,Found an old button off a uniform from a war fought in Australia that I didn't know had ever happened not to mention sooo much more.I didn't realise metal detecting could be so much fun and so easy to do. Buying these detectors for the wife and I was one of my best purchases in years. Thanks Minelab, great product.
