After an amazing yr. with my new Equinox 600, I had hoped to find one more silver coin to add to my 22 for the yr. So I did some research and reached out to a gentleman in charge of the maintenance of a small church built in 1878 and then rebuilt in 1936. He was a nice guy and gave me permission. I arrived early afternoon and it was 41 degrees and probably a 15 mph wind so it want real comfortable. But I wanted that "one more silver coin". About an hour in a found a 1950 Roosevelt dime. I was so happy, I had accomplished what I sat out to do. It was hard hunting, I had the new f1 sat on 2 and sensitivity sat down to 16 to wade through the junk and trash from the remodel. Before I left I found a 1923 mercury dime and was on cloud 9. I was out less than 2 hours and fo uh and 2 silver coins. The next day was a little warmer and I figured I had nothing to lose I had done what I sat out to do and went back to the church thinking maybe there was one more dime out there somewhere. About a half hour in I came across a slamming high tome that came in at 33-34 and we all know what that means. Pinpointer deep I found the most beautiful walking liberty half dollar. I never believed it was going to be a big silver. Trash, a can, anything but a half dollar. I had to sit down right there on the ground. My legs were weak and my hands shook. I know that every time out I'm learning something. I'm getting better. I'm getting more familiar with my Equinox 600. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. You've given me so much hope for life a refreshing hobby that I enjoy so much. I broke my back in 6 places in 2003 I've had 7 major operations and until I got my Equinox 600 I wasn’t getting around much at all I've enjoyed it so much its pushed me and I've gotten stronger and able to go further. For the first time in 16 yrs I have something to look forward too. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART..!!!
