I have been detecting in my home town at our elementary school quite a bit it dates 1934 but the finds now go back to the 1700’s. George Washington stayed just down the street in a home which dates 1700’s. I was detecting the border of the school fence line and neighboring house where the topsoil had at one time scraped and pushed to the fence there is a sharp drop off and had a 26-28 hit in park 2 so I was thrilled when only 4” down I saw the outline of a silver coin wow! I was so thrilled to see the pillars and M for Mexico mint mark! The face was completely smooth so I could not get a date. But I’ve been looking to find a Reale my bucket list keeps getting smaller and smaller with my Minelab.. Oh I also found a 1876 beautiful seated quarter along this edge to a few months back.
