Spanish ruin from colony age in Chihuahua Mexico, a ghost of spanish little girl, Equinox 600 and me.

30 Dec 2020

There is an old construction, from the age of the Spanish colony, made with huge soil bricks and cutted rocks in its base, this antique "building" used to be a corn grinded farm, now it is only a ruins, located in Chihuahua Mexico , same place where Pancho Villa, famous Mexican revolution hero rode his "7 Leguas" horse, long time ago.

This time I went there alone, not any other member of our detectorist club were there, named Chihuahua Adventures. All of them are great team player ready to advice, ready to share their knowledge and experience. Unfortunally this time I was alone.

That day I had been looking for a good finding since 1:30 P.M. and nothing, it was hot, a temperature of 104 F, all around were just Mexican cactus and thorn bushes, sun light almost disappeared, so, I had started to be nervous to be there, my mind flew and I thought, there is nothing here, except this ancient and chilling farm, nor any other human. Here is just nothing in the middle of nothing. Someone in the recent past told about a ghost walking there, a little Spanish girl; I started to imagine if she had existed, the she could be dressed gray, brown and black to be in accordance with the ambience. 6:00 P.M., no any good finding, tired, time to return back to the city... Believe it or not, I heard a sweet voice in my head, clear Spanish accent telling me " go there and move your Minelab technology there, at the opositive direction of the ruin of grinding corn” A saint Christopher medallion and a silver coin minted in 1762 jumped from the same digging hole, they were waiting for more than 250 years. Happened because it was to much sun for me?, I'm not insane! ... Well, yes, now a little bit insane with my spectacular findings detected with my Equinox 600 in this Spanish ruins.
