I was out showing a couple how to use a metal detector, as they wanted to get into the hobby; they own an older stretch of land in Southwest Oklahoma with a couple cobblestone buildings on it. As we were going from signal to signal, I got a very nice hit and I said this is a quarter. Little did I know what was in the hole? Three seated quarters were in the hole. They went home that night and ordered 2 Minelab Equinox 800's. I have yet to return to the cobblestone field but have helped them setup their machines at their home. Finding mid 1800s coins in Oklahoma is rare but the treasure is out there.
