Saturday 8th of August my club and i were out Detecting a farm in south Yorkshire in an area called the isle of Axholme, less than 10 minutes into my search i had a clean two way signel and a vdi of 14 on my Equinox metal Detector and i thought to myself could be a hammered coin. Low and behold after digging the parched earth and breaking open a lump of hard soil i was looking at a hansum coin of Alexander 3rd of Scotland in superb condition was i excited to say the least. The previous night i had been on Utube and installed after watching a video of Syd Perry and his Ancient sight settings program in field one slot. Im amazed at the difference a great program can make to a Detector, thanks Minelab for a great machine Leslie Slater.
