This day is the second part of my first success story. Second day hunting this permission. The reason I'm hunting it like I am is supposedly and good reason to believe with good documentation that the old colonial era property owner buried two chest of spanish 8 reales and gold coins and in fact he was the richest man to ever live where I am from and one of the richest in colonial North Carolina at the time. Also he was family. Well my second day on the permission I found first at 10 inches and around 10 feet from my last coin on the first day the 1827 capped bust dime. And 10 inches down read a 24-25 out popped a 2 reale 1804 and then a few feet from that hit a blaring loud solid 27 and three inches down out popped at 1854 half dime holed and 6 feet from that bam a killer 31-32 signal. Dug down 10 1/2 to 11 inches and popped out a 1787 kg3 shilling. Wow this property is as epic as I thought could be. After I get some iron up cause she's loaded I'm going to slow that recovery speed down and go 4 khz and really clean it up. Lol. Gotta be a bunch of beautiful history. I'm only one who metal detects here. Beautiful finds and last I had a 33-34 deep. 13 inches half dollar 1854 o seated half.
