Ron's Rock

22 Feb 2020

While detecting in the Lake Havasu Arizona area I found the rock of a lifetime. I had been in the area for about three months and found some smaller artefacts but was still hoping to make the find of a lifetime. While at ground level I got the signal that there was a target. I started carefully digging, going deeper and deeper, I finally used my Pinpointer and located the rock. I finally reached the rock at about 16 inches, I saw the colour and started to pull up on the rock, it was larger than expected but I finally unearthed it. As you can see from the pictures, it is truly the find of a lifetime. Many thanks to Gerry of Gerry's Metal Detectors for his help in learning to use the SDC 2300 and the hands on experience of the three day training at Ryepatch Nevada.
