I’ve been detecting for 2 years now with my Nox 800, was lucky enough to find a gorgeous gold hammered Henry VII half Angel in February this year and Bronze Age hack gold in June and thought that’s it for this year then!! Well last Saturday 26th Sept with MWS... BOOM!! A bucket lister of a find for any detectorist, a beautiful gold Roman glistened in the sun again after 1600 years in the English soil. Honestly my find rate for hammered has tripled since I bought my 15’’ coil two month ago. Two weeks ago on one particular day I found 21 romans! 5 days on from my Roman gold I am still smiling!
