Last Sept. at the GPA show in Az. I purchased the new CTX 3030. Being a button man it was a challenge learning a high tech machine at my age.
After a few months of detecting in which I found coins and jewellery, I decided to travel to an old site which has been worked over thoroughly by myself and others.
Using the six inch coil since the area is very trashy, about an hour into detecting I saw two targets on the screen at a10" depth. Disappointment washed over me as I dug out the first target, another piece of trash, digging a little farther my heart raced as I saw what looked like a token. Carefully retrieving the object and cleaning the dirt I jumped for joy it was a rare Arizona token.
A few days later Jan. 13 at a token and coin show I sold it to a collector for $1,500.00.
I would never have found this with my other detectors and will be visiting all the old sites I had given up on. It is not surprising when I say "I love this multi purpose land and water machine"
