A rare find for me on Saturday, July 9. I unearthed a 1904 HK-305 Brass Round Louisiana Purchase Exposition Admission Dollar. There were only 25 thousand round dollars like this ever made. On the bottom, each coin is issued a number. This one is #1341 out of 25 thousand. I found it in a postage stamp backyard permission in Appleton, Wis. with my Equinox 800 at roughly 10-12 inches deep. It was bouncing between 27-28 and there was a nail in the hole with it. On the obverse is a crowned bust of Louis IX, with 1803 on the left and 1903 on the right side. On the reverse, it's dated 1904.
