We were on a treasure hunt with the club at an old townsite. There were various sites around to detect at, garage, school, tennis courts, clubhouse. Unfortunately, the hotel site was fenced off with signs banning detecting, so we stayed away from there. See attached Photo 1 which is my report on the weekend. On the last day we decided to check out the clubhouse site. The wife promptly found the coronation pendant and a threepence, so game on. I was detecting around a concrete slab, when I picked up a signal. eventually recovered the target, it was on edge up against the slab, only down about 30mm. Initially thought it was a washer, pocked it and kept detecting. Later on cleaning up the target, noticed the Chinese symbols. On checking with Google lens, found out it was a Qing Dynasty coin from 1750 to 1780!
