After purchasing my Equinox 800 just before Christmas, I was very keen to go over a park I had been over many times with my Xterra 705. On Thursday the 23rd of January I got my chance, after 5 mins I got a very strong signal about 6” deep and thinking it was rubbish I almost fell over. I couldn’t see much detail but it was bigger and thicker than a penny and Heavier. After getting home my wife couldn’t help herself and proceed to clean and research it origin , it turned out to be a George 111 Bank Token 1811 3 Shill (shillings) i was pretty stoked. I also found a 1916 Anzac medal that was given to Victorian school children in that year that was the second one of that type I have found in that park, also picked up 2 three pence 1914 and 1934. Along 45 cents I only had 3 hours there but I thought the Equinox 800 did extremely well as I had been over that same ground dozens of times . Thank you Minelab for great detector
