I was out with my dogs at an old abandoned home site and was using my Explorer SE PRO for the first time. I wasn't sure exactly what signals to dig at the time and was digging anything the detector would come across.
I was finding a lot of old iron objects that seemed like door parts and old nails. I was about to call it a day when I hit a real good solid signal in between all of the iron, so I got my knife out, cut me a nice plug and out popped this little object that I couldn't recognize.
It seemed to look like a small decorative emblem for what I thought was old furniture or something, but after a few drops of water it started to become a little more clear. I noticed the item I was holding seemed to have a woman on it with a glass.
I turned it over and cleaned it off to reveal the words "drink Coca Cola in bottles 5c. I still didn't realize what I had and after a lot of research I found out I had found a 1907 Coca Cola watch fob.
It is still my favorite find.... yet I am still waiting on my cache of gold coins.
