Hunting an out of the way spot with my Minelab Equinox 600 & digging lots of targets. Found a # 11 target on the screen & 12”-15” deep I pull out an old heavily crusted ring. It was an old Gold class ring. I didn’t try & clean it until I arrived home. Others have found old 10k class rings that have been in pieces or later crumbled while cleaning. I soaked the ring in Apple cider vinegar. Cleaned up lightly with soap & water after and a 1950’s 10K Gold class ring was revealed. Wow! Oldest dated ring found to date. Equinox best machine out there!
