I wanted to try somewhere a little different, somewhere close, 7 minutes up the road was far enough. A small town with a lot of history was a good place to start with an old bridge and park area seemed like a good spot. I found nothing in the playground so I ventured down to the bridge. My 705 was going off the charts, nearly every swing I'd dig, I found a coin. I was so pumped that when it started to get dark I was so disappointed. So, over the next few weeks every day after work I'd head back there. So many pennies, shillings, a bullet, even a wedding ring. Police were shocked when I took the bullets in for them to dispose of. I had to put on hold my detecting as winter set in and my spot became inaccessible.
So bring on the sunshine and let the detecting begin!
