I was detecting in my preferred spot, finding old coppers(Old coins in Quebec are pre-confederation tokens from 1800s), and got a few nice finds... a 1844 US largy, a 1815 Half Penny Token and a couple of old buttons.... Got home and started to clean my coins and junk.... then found that one of those buttons was a coin. I could not believe it... it was a 1 Reale Spanish silver dated 1781!!! Made my year!
