It was a splendid Sunday ... The day dawned cloudy, with a fresh and very pleasant weather. With a prior agreement I picked up Salvador at Cuernavaca, and later Andras in Yautepec, and we went to our favorite place that has given us many macuquinas. Later Mario and Ruban will join us at the field. Since we are in the middle of the rainy season, it's a delight to see the field dressed in its best green, full of life, making our drive really enjoyable, coupled with the conversation and jokes made us very happy and encouraged to find some silver coins from previous centuries. We arrived at the site, parked in the shade of a plum tree that already had some ripe fruits and as always there was don Jesus with the trousers folded up to the knees, in the irrigation channel, guiding the water into his small plot. Since the first time I met him, I've always seen the love which he has for his land and to his work. He is very enthusiastic and it's very nice to see him do what he does. We saluted him and asked permission again to look for coins. Welcome. Make yourself at home! I think that because he has seen, that we're not doing any harm to the crop, or holes that we do not cover up, we gained his confidence, and he allows us to detect without any problem. Will see you later, Don Jesus, we are going to the recently ploughed field, to see if we get lucky. Yes, go ahead... Because there was no sun, it was not necessary to use the cap or hat that I was to wear today, I also brought my Explorer SE detector to use for the first time that day in the field. I didn't know how to use it (and I still don't) but I brought my other detector, in case I could not figure this one out.
