Myself being an E-TRAC and CTX user managed to convince my detecting buddy to upgrade his old machine to an E-TRAC. Reluctantly he traded it in and out came the Credit card last night. So today was training day for him with me in the field. I set up the Programs and Modes and off we went to the field. It was 8''-10'' high barley shoots.. He set of and was straight into musket balls and buttons so was very happy with his purchase. Side by side he would get a signal and I would check for him. Likewise I did the same till he was happy to spread his wings..
All I kept hearing was 'This is far better than the old machine' as he was digging every signal.. Then I heard him shout 'Gold'.. Me thinking he was messing about walked over and saw this little stunner sat in the soil..
I am so happy for him and He is 100% over the moon he has converted to a real machine now.. Thank you so much from myself Minelab staff for your dedication and commitment you put into these Outstanding detectors.. I am sure Rob is thanking you too however he isn't a computer person..
