I arrived for a club dig with the Metal Detectives in Bolnhurst, Bedfordshire,UK,on Nov 4th 2018. As I paid, my dig fee the organiser said to me “you are going to find something good today I can feel it". He also said that after seeing my name on the attendee list and saying to himself "he's going to find something good", he saw two magpies (a sign for joy).I went thinking nothing and proceeded to have a fruitless morning. Load of old tosh, I said to myself. Refreshed and full I hit an area that had produced a few Roman coins earlier in the day, and promptly found one. Next signal was a real surprise. Another Roman I said as I dug, but it a tiny quarter stater revealed itself from the mud. I could not believe it and went to show Mark. He could not believe it either but said, "told you". One happy digger and an organiser renamed 'Mystic Mark' Cracking machine the EQUINOX, Thanks Minelab and thanks Mystic Mark.
