Yahoo!! After 30 years of on and off detecting, and 12 months with my GM, I finally found my first ever bits of gold. To say I was beside myself is an understatement. I want to thank Locky D Campbell, Mathew Servior for their tutoring and help along with everyone who contributes to this site. I read and take in every bit of info offered and it has made the difference. It is easy to get despondent when you are not finding the yellow stuff but persistence and practice pays off. A special call out to Mathew Servior for allowing me to tag along with him and taking me to his special spot. He is a gun with the monster. I can't wait to get back out again. I am attaching a pic of my find but I have to be honest they look big but don't sneeze when you look at them!
