My uncle lost his 1949 AAA baseball championship ring he earned after hitting a grand slam against the Braves in Memphis Tn. He lost the ring 12 years ago in his back yard. The 86 year old Iwo Jima survivor (wounded twice on that island) didn't ask me to look for it. I kinda insisted I give it a try. Well, after digging about 20 targets that 18K gold honker of a ring with 13 diamonds showed its beautiful self. It made my day handing him that ring. That ring has sentimental value through the roof !!! E-TRAC numbers were 12-34. That was the 3rd time he had lost that ring. Because it was damaged from a lawn mower strike, I suggested he have the jeweler install a GPS chip in it when he gets it repaired.
