I was out on a small permission I have early evening just after lock down had been lifted in the uk, suffering from withdrawal symptoms from not being out for five months. Wandering around for an hour and not hitting many targets I was thinking to myself a must be doing something wrong or I have lost my mojo I hit this cracking signal, high 30's. Digging down around 12" and still no sign of the target, then after another 4" I could see the green colour of the target and I new then I had something very special. After very carefully removing the soil from around the object I could see that it was a round ring measuring about 5" across with a pattern covering it. Once home I was straight into the reference books to see if I could identify what it was. Boom there it was a Middle bronze age Liss Bracelet 4000 years old, I must admit I felt humbled thinking I was the first person to have held it since it was placed or lost their. A find of a life time.
