I was attending an organised detecting dig at Elmdon in Essex UK I was on a small farm field on Sunday the 26th of July using my minelab equinox 800 when i got a clear signal showing an ID of ten on the screen on investigation i found it to be a Short Cross Silvered Hammered Coin of John this dated to 1199 - 1216 this was recovered from a depth of 9 inches
