Took the manticore to the beach and started hunting in the water just over knee deep. I usually don’t find much at this particular beach but I haven’t been there for a while so I decided to give it a try. After the first couple of hours I had a good amount of clad and three junk rings. I was still working my way down the shoreline when I got a repeatable low tone on the detector. I took one scoop and out popped the biggest diamond ring I have ever found ! I looked and it was stamped 14k on the inside and had other numbers I couldn’t make out. Hunted that area a while longer and called it a day. Once I got home I took out my loop and was able to read the other numbers, they were from G S Laboratories. This was a certified diamond ! I went to the website and entered the numbers and made a screenshot of what came up. The diamond is a marquee cut 1.05 carats. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would find something of this caliber. I went to a well known jewelry store today and they had a ring that looked identical to it, the price tag said 3995.00. I was hunting beach low conductor, sensitively 20 and factory settings.
