It was a good night to go detecting as I was detecting near the water targets were rare so I decided to try the dry sand. As I was walking up two teenagers there were very interested in what I was doing as I answered their questions we started getting coins one after the other the look on their faces was priceless they could not believe what was being found it was their first experience detecting. Moving along I got a signal and the display showed 36 I didn't guess what this target was one of the younger boys got on his knees and said it's something shiny as he picked it out of the sand we were surprised to see a silver ring and a black stone on it, the older boy took the ring and said it was stamped 925 boy were they booth excited they ran to their parents showing them the ring and the coins and asking their parents to buy a detector I'm sure they didn't get any sleep that night. The total coin count came to over $15.00 and a silver ring not bad for a nights work anyway good hunting to all and fill those holes up please.
