After having a Garrett metal detector for 10 years I won a Minelab X-TERRA 305 at our metal detecting club meeting. The very next day I took it out to a park to try it out. After only an hour of hunting I dug a 10k gold ring. In all the hours I had put in on my old detector I had never found any gold items. I love the new X-TERRA 305 and the pin pointing option works amazingly well. I recover items at least twice as fast as I did with my old detector.
