After several hours searching the beach with no success I was headed back to my condo. As I was headed back I continued to scan and noticed someone approaching me. I stopped and removed my headphones and a gentleman asked me if I would help him. He directed my attention to a third floor balcony where stood his son and new daughter-in-law. He said that they had just gotten married and were celebrating their honeymoon. He pointed to where they had laid out on the beach and said that his son's $3000 wedding band was missing. He asked me if I would try to find it. I said of course but in the back of my mind I was thinking, "I'll never find his ring." I went to where they were laying and started scanning. After about 15 feet I had a hit and dug and sifted. It was a tent stake. Again I had the same thought as before. I continued to scan and after another 15 or so feet I got another hit. I dug and sifted and believe it or not there was the ring. I grabbed it and held it up toward the balcony. The young couple was jumping with joy. My best find ever!
