So I went to Hyams beach for one last hunt before we move, and as I was leaving, a man approached and said he'd lost his ring in the water back in March 2018 whilst swimming and asked if by chance I'd found it. After hearing the description, I suddenly realised I had actually found it around Christmas last year and had it at home in my collection.
Ring lost March 2018, I found it December 2018, and he found me December 2019. I couldn't believe it, after all this time I was able to return it to its rightful owner nearly 2 years after it was lost. What are the chances?
