I am currently on a knee scooter and a field hunter. It is difficult to detect but I'm getting it done. A couple of weeks ago I decided to go detecting to get out of the house and get some fresh air. I found a house site that is now a field and close to the road. This is the best for me at this time. I drove to the site and found it exactly where my plat map said it would be. I parked and got out. Pulled the knee scooter from my backseat and grabbed Equinox 800. At I went into the field I could see brick, glass and pottery shared all over the ground. I knew this was the place. I dug several wheat pennies and other things but my detector was screamimg a 17 signal. As I dug the target a clayarble dropped into the bottom of my plug. I quickly put that in my pocket and started looking for the signal. In the bottom of the plug I found a beautiful gold class ring. A 1938 class ring at that After many phone calls I finally found out who's ring this had belonged to. The lady had passed in 1975 and I was able to find out she had a daughter and it will be returned to her this Wednesday at our club meeting.
