What a day at the campgrounds today. I cannot believe that I found two Walking Liberty half-dollars just a few feet apart 1943 S and 1945 D. I was also able to save two more mercs 1943 S and 1934. I had just about given up one finding any gold there, but I was able to find a nice gold heart locket and a 10k small ring. I was about to put all my detecting gear away and only focus on my wife's medical problems, but she knows how much I love to detect and told me to go out for a while. I am glad she did.
