I have one quaint finding. My detection with a detector is not a rarity. It's a discovery that everyone discards and goes on. But thanks to Minelab CTX 3030 I found beautiful artifacts.
I searched near the old medieval mine. I wanted to find some rock residue after mining, but it did not work. I started digging iron signals and found a small rusty nail. Just a find that everyone just throws behind their heads and goes on again. Together with the nail, however, several ceramic shards appeared. And so I dug deeper, deeper, until I had a backpack full of broken ceramics.
At home I washed and scraped the shards - it stuck. I love the pots and I like them very much. It happened that a small rusty nail helped to find an old waste pit full of medieval ceramics.I wish everyone a great deal of success in finding and remember that iron can also be treasured.
