Little blue house

19 Jan 2020

We were on the prowl to find the owner of a train station dating to 1915, we stopped at the sheriff's office and asked if they knew the owners we got an escort to the owner porch. As we asked and got permission to dig I asked how old her house was 1902 was what she said. She gave us permission to dig there as well so we started off which her property was the entire block. So as I was going around the side of one of the houses I got a solid silver tone on my CTX and instantly thought siding. I dug down and on my initial plug it was still 3 or 4 inches down. I got it out and noticed it was a silver quarter. I plucked it out and waited for the guys to come over. I sprayed it with water to clean it and w 1875 quarter from the Texas panhandle may not be the find of the month but here it is pretty rare to dig seated
