Today I dug my 1st silver EVER, I was hunting a bean field with my husband, where a house once stood in the 1800s and I got a solid 38 on my X-TERRA 70, I dug down and out popped this little beauty! a 1853-1855 half dime. I can only tell the date because of the arrows by date were only made for those three yrs. Someone drilled a hole thru the date.
