Being very new to the nox 800 today was my second time out with it. It want a long hunt. Infact it was a quick hour hunt. I have been lucky enough to of been given permission to detect a old army village. So off I go nox in hand dreaming the dream we all have if that half sovereign. But hey I will be happy with anything, even a ring pull. So I arrive at my spot get my gear out and turn on my detector. Heck I'm a green horn with this machine oh well I'll wing it as I'm still learning it. Starting from my car field 1 I start swinging. 1 mtr from my car I get this screaming 32 on my nox. Ear drums ringing. Shows 4 arrows down. Great I'm goingnto be digging rocks up. Yes the ground is rocky as. Anyway dig my plug be luck if I go 2 inches down. Great. Pop the plug out and turn on my pin points. Straight away it indicates I'm right on it. Slowly I start brushing the loose dirt away and out pops the barrel. Cool I think to myself I've found some poor kids cap gun. The I noticed wow it has 2 barrels. Slowly I remove the rest of the dirt to reveal a toy pirates flintlock. Man was I stoked. This wouldn't of happen Hadn't I purchased my nox from Dan at DredgeNZ
