I admin for the Facebook page New Zealand Ring Finder. About a month ago I got a call from a guy whose wife had been swimming at a beach in Point Chevalier, Auckland New Zealand. He told me she had lost her irreplaceable ruby engagement ring. So I sent 3 detectorists there on different days, but the ring remained in the sea. That is until today when I decided to go there on the really low tide and grid search the area that was previously out of reach. After about an hour or so I found it in the seaweed much further out than first suggested. The husband said 'that's insane! Wow such great news my wife and I are both speechless. The commitment you and your crew undertook was incredible and we're lost for words. Thanks again!
