I recently upgraded to my first Minelab (E-TRAC). I have been detecting a friends yard with a house dating back to the 1890's. I have detected this yard several times with another companies detector and found many great pieces, coins, jewelry etc. But after hearing how great the E-TRAC is, I decided to buy one and give it a try. On my first day out I discovered this Wisconsin Game Warden badge nearly 7 inches deep, this had been missed several times with my other detetctor. I was able to research and determine the badge belonged to a gentleman who lived at this house in the early 1900's. I found a catalog from the maker of this badge, dating back to 1910. I located a great niece and returned it to her, she was delighted! The E-TRAC is a serious machine, I'm glad I upgraded! Mark Gary - Wisconsin, USA
