This past Christmas I got a new Equinox 800, I previously had another top brand's higher end machine and decided I wanted to try the multiple frequency out. My fist big hunt of the New Year with it was at a very old colonial site that my cousin and I had hit very hard the previous season with our other machines. Right off the bat my first hit was a cut Felipe V two Reale! I continued to find pieces of colonial buckle fragments, buttons along with the other common relics found at these sites that we just missed last year. One of my last targets of the day was a complete pair of solid silver colonial cufflinks with the letter I inscribed in the middle with a beautiful design around the edge. I was in shock and convinced the new machine was going to work out alright for me in the future. Since the New Year I have found more silver than I did with my other machine all year! I'm a seasoned detectorists that's very pleased with this product.
