I'm submitting this is for my son Henry.
On a day out detecting Henry saw an old tree and decided to try his luck there.
Henry had a high tone and dug his first ever half crown which was 1820. Upon checking the hole another half crown appeared which was 1845. Another signal appeared and this time a 1835 half crown came to the surface.
Henry dug 5 silver coins & found 5 different Monarchs on the one hunt which were George IV, William IV, Victoria, George V & George VI 😲.
It was wonderful as Henry not only got the coin spill but now has his oldest coin at 1820.
Interestingly one half crown has small scales stamped on it. The other a cross through it.
He is one very happy young man and I'm one very proud father 🙂.
Graham (Henry's father).
