On afternoon of June 5th, I found a few good "keepers". Got some old bullet lead and two flat buttons. I really enjoy finding vintage buttons from the past, because there is so much undocumented history in them. If only they could speak, the things you could learn. One button in particular struck my fancy, because it appeared to have fancy.
Once I was able to get home and lightly brushed the dirt off an image started to appear. I had to reach out on social media for identification from those more knowledgeable. I unearthed a rocking military relic in my opinion, a U.S. Army Greatcoat button circa 1820-1830!
I'm telling you, the E-TRAC is handling its business!
