Six hours walking on a heavy ploughed field, but the sun was shining. A great day to search. But after 50% of the time not one find, only some lead shrapnel.
My patience was tested for this field. But yes a tone that was a bit louder than the small lead shrapnel I had found. So I dug the tone out, and with sun shining on the spot, it was really a beautiful sight to see. Man, all the hours walking for nothing payed off.
A very small (10 mm) gold Celtic coin came out in the sunshine. Later on, I also found also a bronze Celtic coin, all in 6 hours walking, but I was very happy.
