The mud, the cold and the rain didn't make me give up. I tried and tried on the side of an old road that was passing thru that forest a long time ago. It was exactly between two old settlements so my hopes were high as I knew that in the Middle Ages farmers used to make their own wepons in order to defend thier belongings along with their properties. At a given point my E-trac told me: "dig don't be foolish" as the signal was iron and indicated a big target. I believe it is a " Bauernwehr". This weapon was used by the Central and Eastern European villagers around the end of the XV century.
