So on sunday I took my new explorer xs that I purchased on Friday out. I was abit nervous as it was my first ever time with a minelab, I switched on my machine and set off. A couple of metres I hit my first signal a small 22 bullet I was happy that my new machine was working so carried on. 15 minutes later my machine give a low humm. I dug out the plug and to my surprise was a hammered silver coin. It was the smallest I have ever found, a Charles 1 twopence/half groat from around 1630.I was so happy I just shouted hammered. Thanks minelab for the great machine and i can't wait to learn it more and see what else I can find.
