I found this ring on Memorial Day weekend. It hit a solid 13 in every direction a good 7 inches down. I thought the usual, a nickel! Boy was I surprised. I took it to a local jewellery store and it is confirmed that the diamond are real and so was the sapphire. He said the ring was very old and that the diamonds are miners cut diamonds. Gold tested 14k. Hands up it to this machine! It never fails to surprise me how good it is.
