On Sunday March 30 2019 I and my buddy headed out to dig in RI. On our way to the site I said to my buddy’s we should go to a different location due to weather they both agreed. So we headed over to the next site and hiked into the site. Within the first 10 mins. of turning on my detector I had a ok signal a 17 on the EQUINOX. I dug the hole and the signal cleaned up was coming in at 28. I located the target and picked it up and saw the 1652 and knew right away what it was. I called my buddy’s over to see the coin with me. The coin turned out to be a 1652 pine tree 3 pence. After the find I could not get my head back into detecting anymore that day. The memory of that day and being able to share with two of my close friends.
