After noticing a post on a Facebook page requesting assistance for a lost wedding band, the call was answered and hunt set in motion. A quick Q and A with the owner resulted in a 20m x 20m beach being the area of highest probability. 20 minutes later we were on the way, racing the sunset over the ocean. With minutes to spare before the big golden orb disappeared for the day the hunt was on. A search perimeter was established and swinging began. As the light faded the tones sung sweet and true. A quick forage through the dry sand and a distinctive shine was seen. The beloved ring was safe wrapped tightly around my pinky finger. My partner, along with our 6 month old Oliver and cheering with joy we messaged the owner for the news they awaited. With a total elapsed time of 1 hour and 17 minutes since notification including 40 minutes travel time.
