On a recent hunt I decided to detect at one of my old spots that seemed to be hunted out due to years of hard detecting. This place had been hit by various other high end detectors and targets had gotten very few and far between. Another problem that this area has is the fact that it is littered with iron. I decided to give it another shot since I purchased my equinox 600 and learned its capabilities. Needless to say it made this old site seem new again and by the end of the hunt I ended up with some nice finds including a Victorian era makeup compact with the art still showing to this day and also a beautiful Georgia state seal button
